I qualified as a Registered Nurse and Midwife and have over 35 years experience as a Registered Nurse in the NHS, with 17 years as a Specialist Nurse working in Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinsons and Chronic Pain Services.
Whilst working as a Midwife I was introduced to Acupuncture and I saw the benefits of a natural approach to health and wellbeing... and so began my journey into a holistic approach to health.
With my background I combine a clinical understanding with these powerful therapeutic tools, including Hypnotherapy, NLP, Havening, Acupuncture (Traditional Chinese Medicine) and I am a trained Freedom from Chronic Pain Practitioner to help make lasting change.
I trained in Havening with Stephen Travers. Stephen Travers is the Director of UK and International Havening and one of the worlds most skilled and experienced International HaveningTechniques Trainers. He works alongside the creators of Havening Drs Ronald and Steven Ruden.

I asked Gill to help me with a particularly upsetting situation, which I couldn't even talk about it without feeling overcome with emotion. After a short havening session with Gill I could still recall the memory but I didn't have the same overwhelm. Overall, I have found it a great way of removing the distress but at the same time it was important not to belittle what happened. Thanks Gill and I hope you are able to help many more people with this skill you have.

Gill has helped me over the last few months with arthritic pain management , to a stage where I hardly notice it most of the time, finger biting and past trauma. The improvements have been incredible and I've been so surprised by it, especially as all our sessions were on line. I had a really positive experience with this therapist during a difficult time. Gill was incredibly kind, calm and supportive throughout the session, creating a space where I felt safe to open up.
At the beginning my emotional distress felt like a 10 out of 10, but by the end of the session, it had come down to a 0. The shift alone says a lot about how effective and grounding her approach is.
Gill has a very gentle presence that makes it easier to process heavy emotions without feeling overwhelmed. I would definitley reommend her to anyone going though grief or needing compassionate support - Delilah.
